The Trade Commissioner Service team in Los Angeles provides assistance to export-ready companies, which have researched and selected our territory (Southern California, Arizona, New Mexico, and Nevada) as their target market. We offer a wide variety of business-related services, which include market prospect, key contact search, local company information, face-to-face briefing and troubleshooting. In addition, we provide assistance to Canadian organizations seeking technology and innovation partnering opportunities. We also work actively to source investment into Canada by local firms in our territory and can assist Canadian enterprises seeking to establish operations here. The International Marketing Centre in Los Angeles is active in promoting Ontario's strengths across many sectors, particularly Renewable Energy/Cleantech, Information, Communication & Technology (ICT) including Digital Media and Gaming and Life Sciences. The Foreign Policy and Diplomacy Service (FPDS) section monitors and reports on political and economic developments of interest to Canada within our territory (Southern California, Arizona, New Mexico and Nevada).
