The Embassy covers the countries of Russia, Armenia and Uzbekistan, and also provides visa services to residents of Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan.

The Consulate General of Canada in St. Petersburg has closed to the public. Services previously offered by the Consulate General have been transferred to the Embassy of Canada in Moscow.
Hours of operation
The Embassy of Canada in Russia is open 08:30 - 17:00
The Consular Affairs section of the Embassy:
Monday - Thursday, from 09:00 to 12:00 and from 14:00 to 16:00
Friday, from 09:00 to 13:00
The Immigration Section of the Embassy:
Tuesday and Thursday: 9:00 to 10:30
The office is closed to the public on Monday, Wednesday and Friday.

Prior to contacting us, please review this information.
If you are visiting the Embassy, you are kindly asked not to bring in large bags as it slows down the security checks at the entrance considerably. If you are travelling from far away, please leave your suitcases and backpacks in a left luggage room at the railway station or at the airport. When you visit the Immigration and Visa Section, you must present the original of your internal national passport or other suitable identity documents bearing photographs.

The Emergency Operations Centre of the Department of Foreign Affairs and International Trade operates 24 hours a day, seven days a week. An experienced officer is always available to respond to emergency calls from anywhere in the world.
